Collegiate Shag Workshop & Fancy Feet Social
Swing your way into fall! This September we will be holding a collegiate shag workshop and fast feet dance. Instructors Peter Flahiff and Lauren Smith will get you moppin' and boppin' in the afternoon. That night they will be your DJ's at our fast feet dance. Shag, balboa, and lindy hoppers-be ready to cut a rug on a Saturday night!

Peter and Lauren are a dynamic duo of swing dance instructors with over forty years of experience between the two of them. Both have dance backgrounds based off classic dances from the Swing Era. With Seattle as their home base, the two of them spend their time teaching at dance events and workshops throughout the world.
What is collegiate shag? It's a style of swing dance from the 20's and 30's that's primarily danced to up tempo and swing styles of music. Getting curious? Come check out the workshop, no experience required (beginners welcome).
